Mythology

 The Loving and

 Beloved Eos

Eos was the goddess of the dawn, and rode on a large and bright chariot everyday.  Eos had four lovers throughout her life including Tithnous, Orion, Kleitus, and Kephalus. Eos was the third child, with her brother being Helios, the god of sun, and Selene, the goddess of the moon.  Eos was the daugter of the Titans Hiperion and Theia.  Eos was married to Astraeus, although she was in love with Ares, and was soon cursed by Aphrodite for having a desire with young men.  Eos was called Aurora by the Romans, and had a symbol of the sun or the dew drop.

Eos had a sacred plant called the Saffron, and was worshiped by ancient people whose myths are lost in time.  She had wings of pure white and robes of red.  Eos was also known or is remembered for being the goddess of  insatiable need of love.
